What is organic food?
Eating organic is more than a choice, it is a real way of life, because people turning to this kind of food are looking for a healthier life. This type of food has its followers, but at the same time it is also criticized by other people.

What are the health effects of eating organic?
Foods from organic farming do not contain pesticides and other chemicals harmful to health. While these are permitted, but regulated and limited, they are not harmless. Indeed, some studies have shown that there is a link between cancers or even Parkinson's disease and people at high risk and in contact with pesticides, such as farmers. Thus, choosing to eat organic means limiting the ingestion of pesticides that are harmful to the body and to health.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of organic food?
Above all, organic products have the advantage of being better for your health, because they do not contain harmful chemicals. Then, they usually take the seasons into account and are picked when ripe. Thus, they have more taste and flavor than fruits and vegetables that finish ripening in trucks. Cereals are richer in minerals, fibers, less fatty meats ... Also, even if this is not a generality, more and more organic producers favor short circuits (for example AMAP) in order to preserve the nutritional qualities of their production, picking at the last moment to guarantee freshness and limit the impact on the environment. However, eating organic costs more expensive on average than conventional products, even though supermarkets are now offering increasingly competitive prices. Also, organic products are more difficult to find (specialized stores) even if, once again, supermarkets are expanding their offer more and more in order to surf this fashion or rather this way of life which is increasingly popular.
