This book sleeve is one of the few projects I still get to see in action after being made since my uncle uses it daily.

I love the longevity of leather pieces, especially when you take care with them, they can last you for yearssss.

I was a little annoyed at myself for not posting this months earlier but now is a better time than any.

This was the first time I made a leather book sleeve for my uncle in September. I’m so happy with the way it turned out. The saddle stitching all the way around was so satisfying to do on much bigger project like this one🪡

When I designed this long stitch, I was definitely going for a plant theme but I didn’t plan for it to look this way exactly. However, in my ex*****on, each pattern ended up being connected. Which I liked, since it reflects a kind of deep rooted imagery. Like a cascading root system of some sort.

Hi ^-^* I’ve been wanting to introduce myself, many of you interact with me on here but you don’t really know the face behind The Qraftist ₊˚⊹

⚘ My name is Queanna and I’m 24yrs old. I was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago.

⚘ I love nature, rainy days, watching shows, reading and photography. I also sing and play guitar a little ₊✧ ﾟ.

⚘ These are a few of my favourite games: Hob, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Trine, Gwent, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, I’m hoping to start Genshin Impact soon ^•^*

⚘ I have a background in mechanical engineering, I graduated in 2019 from The University of the West Indies. I love math and physics but I always had an undying love for art since childhood. My art chronicles had always been sporadic however, as I never really studied it formally as a subject.

⚘ In 2018 I was inspired to take back up drawing after seeing the work of and I began this page to document my little sketches. It was only in 2020 I decided to turn my passion for art and crafting into this blossoming business ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚

⚘ The first ever book I made was actually a present. Only after sharing it, I began getting requests for sketchbooks and drawings. After seeing this, I wanted to take it seriously and I have been creating for you all ever since. ₊˚⊹♡

This bold red cover really brought new life to this Bible🥀 I was super excited to take on this project because it would allow me to learn some new techniques I had been wanting to try using this bookbinding method.
