Fundraiser for Titus Bharat an upcoming junior cyclist

Our junior cyclist (Titus Bharat) would like to take this time to thank everyone that contributed to the success of his fundraiser. A special thank to the cooks that took their time off from their busy schedule, to Mrs Sharen Badal-Ahyew Titus would like to express his sincere gratitude for being there and doing all that you did Mrs. Sharen we couldn't have done it without you. Thanks to those that bought tickets and donated in anyway whether it was monetary donations, food items and to those that sold tickets.

Titus's background story..... get the popcorn ready😄🍿

Titus was born on the 19th of April. He was the first born to his parents Sasha and Hiram Bharat. Growing up Titus attended the Tabaquite Roman Catholic Primary School. Titus has always been quite adventurous, inquisitive, very polite and friendly. He has a love for animals, music, sports, family and food. Titus has always been seen correcting those close to him in treating each other kindly. He is indeed a brother's keeper. 💖

As of five years old Titus began to show signs of having difficulties academically. His parents took the opportunity to have him assessed. Titus was diagnosed with ADHD at age eight. Titus continued to try his very best academically and had the support of his dedicated teachers at Tabaquite R.C school and his family .

At twelve years old Titus was transferred to SERVOL JUNIOR LIFE CENTER, Freeport. This change made Titus more confident in his learning abilities. He quickly adjusted to this new setting and has many close friends, some being his teachers.

Titus was introduced to cycling at the age of twelve years old by Mr. Bevon Maylan. A close neighbor and family friend. This stirred an excitement within him. Titus enjoyed his daily rides to the Knolly's Tunnel and as he improved, he rode all the way from Tabaquite to Brothers Road. Gradually his training began and Titus had weekly rides throughout the country. He then entered many competitions with some which were great achievements while some being a learning experience in which he definitely overcame. Titus now rides under the PSL Cycling Club under the supervision of his current coach Mr. Elijah Greene. Titus has placed on the top three of many races he participated in.

Some of his recent achievements are:
1. First place- Time trial competition 2022
2. Second- Grand prix 2022
3. Third- Grand prix 2022
