I thoroughly enjoy doing these duets. It’s therapeutic, simple, short and sweet. I’m very nostalgic when it comes to songs. Love singing songs from my childhood. The memories bring so much warmth, joy and inspiration.

If you don’t exercise, try exercising sometimes! Regular exercise may help ease depression and anxiety by: Releasing feel-good endorphins, natural cannabis-like brain chemicals (endogenous cannabinoids) and other natural brain chemicals that can enhance your sense of well-being.
Late evening cooking in Becca’s Kitchen. Easy recipe - minimal cleanup. Perfect quickie! The salmon 🍣 was pan-seared in a large skillet, and the lemon caper sauce was made in the same skillet. Almost like a one pot situation 🔥.
The whole recipe took 30 minutes from start to finish, and the cleanup was minimal (only one skillet to clean) 🙌🏾.
Cooking is like to me. The only thing I detested this time was scaling the salmon I thought was already scaled 😐. Other than that delicious 😉.

Did you know that 20% of the oxygen you breathe 🫁 in is used by your brain to function? Increasing the amount of fresh air you have can provide greater clarity to the brain 🧠, promoting optimal function whilst helping you to think, focus and concentrate better.
Talking it out (i.e. with the right people) helps! Everyone doesn’t have the grace to listen. But when you connect with the right ear it helps.
Stretch. Moving our body and gently stretching our muscles, helps release tension and can help us sleep better.
We can’t forget to exercise our minds. Here are a couple Psychological Benefits:

The following exercises can improve just about everything in your life because, if you think about it, your brain is at the core of everything you do.

It’s ok to be loyal to yourself. 😌 Choose yourself everyday!
Make it your business to get some sun ☀️every single day.

Getting some sun increases your serotonin and helps you stave off Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and sun exposure can also help people with anxiety and depression, especially in combination with other treatments.

Shutting your eyes and allowing your other senses to take control will train your brain to help in different situations when sight is not possible. Using your touch and tactile senses helps boost your brain 🧠. I haven’t done it for the entire time I’m taking a shower 🚿 but I do it off and on. Try it!
I’m still learning to be consistent in applying this. 🤗. Deep breathing can help! If you don’t apply this, try doing it the next time you’re in a stressful situation or the next time you feel a panic attack coming.
