I’m still overwhelmed by this experience it was truly surreal connecting with the kiddies. I was incredibly nervous before, but after just one class, all my anxiety immediately went away. These kids are not only amazing but also so talented. I’m definitely looking forward to witnessing their growth and the development of their passions. The absolute highlight of my day was when one of the girlipops in a STD.5 class told me, “You touched my heart. I want to change my career.” In that moment, I was ready to burst into tears. It was a complete turnaround from what my professors kept telling me, “that designing isn’t my passion and that I’m not good at it.” Inspiring just one little girl has really impacted my life. She completely shifted my perspective on everything.🤯 Happy July to everyone! Okay before y’all come to tussle hear me out! I see those types of posts and reels so many times a day and I love them!!! BUT, potential clients probably won’t care🤷🏾‍♀️ Don’t get me wrong as a designer and creative person I love finding new fonts to use in projects and seeing which fonts some of my designer friends and inspirations are loving right now. It also helps me get inspired!😌 But how are your favorite fonts going to help potential clients? How are these types of videos showing what you do, and how do they speak to your target audience?😅 Most likely you’d rather attract people in your industry (design/art) than potential clients seeking help to build their brands.
