Corn chow!

So I decided to make a bold step! I read Tricia St. John's article in the Sunday Guardian about single women. It resonated deeply within me as I have been happily divorced since 2011. Yes, I have had some "situationships" but mostly I have been alone... but not lonely! There is a BIG difference! From reading some of the comments under her article, I noted that some women do not have the confidence to steer life on their own. They believe that they are "incomplete" without a significant other! Some women also do not have a support system of persons who can encourage and empower them to do more and be the best version of themselves. They are also hesitant to go out on their own and experience the joys of life!
As such, I decided to create a Facebook group Single Women Empowerment Organization This group will allow single women the opportunity to meet, chat, go out on group excursions, have workshops, seminars, learn to cook, do makeup, start up a business etc.
I am a Nurse executive with a lot of experience under my belt. I am also a caterer and have a small business. I teach Events Management and Etiquette to name a few. I also know a lot of other single women who are quite skilled and therefore we will all be able to learn from each other, as well as make some new friends! So please, feel free to join the group and leave the last Saturday of each month free for the rest of the year! We heading out!
