We all know that the future of our world depends on how we, as a society, strives to improve the way we produce food and food products. In Taiwan, which is a relatively small island nation, that need is even more important. That's why I went out to meet with three different companies to see how they are making changes to their production and food sourcing system to see if they are living up to the strict international standards put in place by the UN and other international governing bodies.

Join me as I visit 新東王珍好饌股份有限公司 (EASY MEAT), 喜美包裝企業股份有限公司 (ALL PACKING) and 玩艸植造股份有限公司 (WONDER GREENER), meet with their staff, and learn about how Taiwan is becoming greener and more sustainable each and every year.

I swear I've never slept so well in my entire life!

Now I have an Emma Mattress, Emma Pillows, and now an Emma bedframe! They all work together so beautifully, and sleep has turned into something so enjoyable that it's getting difficult to get out of bed in the morning.

As shown in this video, my new bed frame especially is perfect for smaller apartments which might require extra storage space, as the drawers underneath are a great place to store your extra clothes, socks, or anything else you might want to keep close to your bed!

As for the video, one of the things I love most about living in Taiwan is the feeling of adventure I get just by going outside. I may be getting used to my life here, but it sure is a lot different that my life in Canada growing up. So tha's why, every once in a while, I like to push myself even further outside my comfort zone and do something I've never done before.

In this case, I decided to attempt to walk to Kenting with only 500 New Taiwan Dollars in my pocket. Is this even possible? Would I be able to make it? Would this kind of adventure be worth it? You'll have to watch the video to find out!

Everyone who ends up moving to Taiwan to start a new life or adventure eventually needs to ask themselves a very important question: Will I stay in Taiwan forever?

For some, they choose to get married here, start a family, build a career, and stay here for many decades, if not their entire life.

For others, Taiwan is another stop (albeit an amazing one) on their big adventure of life.

So in this video, we discuss our future plans and lay out our case for what our future in Taiwan holds!

Now, I'm looking back at one of my very first EVER adventures here in Taiwan. This was back back I had only a couple of videos under my belt and was still learning the ropes re: filming, vlogging, adventuring and YouTube! I can see that my style has changed a lot over the years, and in fact, it seems I was quite a bit more relaxed back then and didn't quite talk as much as I do now. Let me know which style you prefer... should I talk less, and show more? Or do you like the modern day version where I act as more of a presenter? Let me know!!

We had a wonderful afternoon and evening trekking around Kaohsiung trying all kinds of local and special Taiwanese foods that Luke (Australia) and Anne (Netherlands) had never tried before. Many of the foods pleasantly surprised them, and I have a feeling they'll be going back for seconds!

My good friend Raj, a Canadian pharmacist shared his thoughts on the Taiwanese healthcare system, highlighting its efficiency in providing access to physicians and managing patient flow. He praised the system's ability to handle patient visits effectively. However, he also noted areas for improvement, particularly in medication management and the role of pharmacists. Raj suggested that increased pharmacist involvement could enhance patient care and alleviate the workload on hospitals and physicians. Overall, they viewed the Taiwanese healthcare system positively and took some time to compare it to Canada's healthcare system as well.
