Because sleeve is quite long and thin, how to clamp workpiece properly is quite important.
We need to pay special attention to the transformation and force distribution on the clamping area.

The project that we are busy with this week.
KG-500 CNC Internal Grinders for gear and fl**ge grinding.
This model is suitable for big and heavy workpiece.
With A2-6 workhead and 2 pcs internal grinding spindles.
The built-in grinding spindles are provided by the client.
They have used the same spindle brand for a long time
For service concerns, they requested the same spindle on their machine.
This is totally fine for GuanYu.
We customized the seat to match client's spindle so that the client can get better service in the future!

The workpiece is D530mm, thickness 83mm and weight 86kgs.
Add on the weight of chuck is around 110kgs.
Well, sounds like an "affordable" weight compare to machine's rigid structure.

Client is the most creative creature. They will try every way to save a step, reduce the cycle time but meanwhile remain everything in quality. Here is one of examples - A customized machine that modify from our standard model KG-500 with extra X travel to allow installation of a "lathe turret".
With this turret, client can do grinding right after turning. Not only benefit to its geometric accuracy, but also great saving on space and energy! Check it out!

This is the model we target for long, heavy and taper workpieces!
Different kinds of spindles, long sleeves will just fit it outstandingly.

The unique design we want to point out is, the special design of Y axis with angle adjusting system.
In traditional way, the taper would be done by X axis (workhead).
But when operator constantly grind taper from workhead angle, backlash problem become more and more serious day after day.
To solve this problem from our taper-lover client, we design this system to minimize his issue.
Taper of Y axis is adjustable from 0 to 10 degree.
