Hello, for those who don't know who is creating these templates and images: I am the person in charge of this educational site, communicator and instructor of Taekwon-Do based in Taiwan and current General Director of the National Association of this country. I use infographics to express my ideas and content from classes, trainings or other information related to taekwondo. As I keep teaching, I should never stop learning even the basics or fundamentals, and for me teaching is a great way to keep learning, so here I am joining again and learning from these great exponents

Leaving aside the political schism, the ITF Taekwon-Do is a huge family trying to provide the best to its members. And in the world are many families with one single purpose, keep the legacy of General Cho alive one way or another.
Take a look to the different spheres the ITF Taekwon-Do is developed for a better world
We are like human machines and in ITF Taekwon-Do style the basic exercises: Four Direction Punch (saju jirugu), Four Direction Block (saju macki) and also Four Direction Thrust (saju tulgi) works as a meshing gears working to transmit rotational motion in a machine. These basic exercises are also considered preparatory excersises for all of us as practitioners and instructors.
Saju Jirugi and Saju Macki are basic exercises taught to beginner students (10th Gup and above), and are considered as the essential gear for the correct ex*****on of more intermediate or advanced techniques.
However, we also have Four Direction Thrust (saju tulgi) which is less commonly taught than the other two basic exercises; the Four Direction Thrust it appears in General Choi's full 15 Volume Encyclopedia but not in his Condensed Encyclopedia.

"A picture is worth a thousand words" sometimes complex and multiple ideas can be conveyed by a single still image, which convey its meaning or essence more effectively than a verbal or written description.
Discipline in a Dojang is about teaching children a group of values that they can use to guide them through life. This group of values that in Taekwon-Do are represented by our tenets (Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control and Indomitable Spirit) can lead to a healthier emotional life that promotes the development of self-motivation, self-control, personality, a better empathy for others, and decision making processes.
Taekwon-Do (Goosong) is composed of fundamental moves, patterns, dallyon, sparring and self defense techniques that are so closely related that is hard to separate one section from another. And for the kid's learning is important to show them a more dynamic and colorful illustration apart from the traditional illustration showed in the Taekwon-Do Encyclopedia
Appreciate the work done by Sabonim Fabian Izquierdo and sharing his work with all instructors to use as our work tools in the dojang and as educational source.
For being the first infographic published here I would like to explain a bit the message this image transmits: all of us who practice Taekwon-Do can compare ourselves to a plant or a tree that is growing day by day, and the tenets are represented as the roots or foundation that accompany us through life. For future publications or coming infographics, it will be at your own discretion and you can leave the comments or what impression does it leave on you.
