I love how cool the zoom capsule system is. I can have different types of mic in the same system. I just got the shotgun and I'm so excited to start doing some foley field recording. And probably gonna take some of this to San Francisco for my GDC trip and see what cool sounds are around 😂

At the Taipei Game Show doing some Networking in the B2B zone. In the first picture I'm talking with an outsourcing company from Philippines about mobile games, and in the second picture I'm talking with a very cool guy Federico Esposito from an amazing Argentinean developing studio, they were showing an amazing VR music game.

As I keep investing in my new career path. I decided to start investing more in high quality foley recording hardware. And this Zoom H8 and probably the strangest microphone ever the Zoom VRH-8. I will record immersive ambient sound and foley. I'm so excited to go outside (finally lol) and start recording.

Playing Avatar Frontiers of Pandora!! It's an incredible and beautiful game so far!! I love how it takes advantage of new technologies like HDR, those colors just pop out of my screen!! And the 3D audio and movement of objects is incredible.

With so much Godzilla content right now! I'm gonna attempt to make my own sound design of the Godzilla roar. Maybe recreate it a bit but do it in my style.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for encouraging me to continue my music project. I know it's been a long time since I've played in a music festival, but your words of support gave me the push I needed to get back to making music. I used to play in many music festivals in Nicaragua back in the day. I loved it! But then I moved to Taiwan, and life got in the way. I started a beer company, which was a lot of work. And then, of course, COVID hit. I had to close my company and lost a lot of money. It was a really tough time.
But music was always there for me. It was my escape from reality. It was my way of expressing myself. And it was my way of connecting with people.
When I saw your comment on my Facebook, it reminded me of how much I love music. And it gave me the courage to start playing again.
So thank you, Gerardo. Your words meant a lot to me. And I'm so grateful for your support.
I'm still in the early stages of getting my music project off the ground, but I'm excited to see where it takes me. And I know that I couldn't have done it without you.
