From start to finish our experience with IVMED has been fantastic.

Our coordinator Alexandra was fabulous throughout the process.
She was always quick with information or to answer queries that we may have had to put our minds at ease. We can’t recommend her enough and are extremely thankful to her for all her hard work to help us.
She made our experience so positive and matched us with two amazing surrogate mothers who we are eternally grateful to for helping us to start a family.

Upon arrival in Lviv, Olya was on hand to help and coordinate everything for my wife and I. Olya was incredible throughout and made our experience in Lviv so smooth and easy. She facilitated doctor visits, translation with our surrogate mother, drivers, taxis, nurses among various other things and was available 24/7. Nothing was a problem. She was so helpful and we sincerely thank her for all her work for us.

Once the babies were born, IVMED’s attorney, Olga, was amazing to deal with and ensured that the paperwork was turned over really quickly to the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Olga is so professional and hard working and always available on the other end of the phone or email. I don’t think we have ever met someone so efficient and good at their job !

We first met before the war at an exhibition in Paris. In November 2023, she came to Kyiv for IVF treatment, and here is her beautiful story:

«I had a C-section on July 26th, three weeks before my due date, for greater safety. Finally, I am about to meet my little Eva. We chose this name because of a cosmetic store in Ukraine, and the etymology comes from Eve, as in Adam and Eve. I would love for her to have a younger brother who would protect her because she came into my life late.

But that will be a year after the C-section. I often think about you and the staff at the clinic. I hope I can bring my daughter to Kyiv and show her the beautiful place where she began her journey.

I’m sending you a photo of Eva—she’s my little heart, and without the IVMED team, she wouldn’t be here today. She was born on Friday, July 26th, the same day as her late grandfather’s birthday. At 9:24 AM, she weighed 3.210 kg and was 48 cm long. She’s healthy.

Today is a special day for IVMED – we are celebrating the first birthday of a wonderful little boy, Nicolàs, born on August 9, 2023, in Spain. Despite being born prematurely, this brave hero fought for his health with incredible strength and resilience, reminding us all of the indomitable spirit of Ukraine.

His parents‘ love and dedication, combined with the support of the entire IVMED team, helped Nicolàs grow stronger each day. We are honored to have played a part in making their dream of becoming parents a reality.

🌍 WORLD BREASTFEEDING WEEK 🌍

From August 1st to 7th, we celebrate World Breastfeeding Week to raise awareness about the vital benefits of breastfeeding for both mother and child.

Breast milk is a unique natural product, offering all the essential nutrients for a baby’s development. It fully meets the nutritional needs for the first six months and continues to be crucial up to 12 months. Early breastfeeding significantly boosts a baby’s immunity and protects against infections like diarrhea and pneumonia. It also supports physical and cognitive development, reducing risks of asthma, diabetes, and obesity.

For mothers, breastfeeding reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, ovarian and breast cancers, and postpartum depression. It fosters a strong emotional bond and is the most convenient and cost-effective way to nourish a baby.

The 40s is the new 30s! Let’s stop the time together.⌛️

No matter how well you’ve taken care of yourself over the years, you’re still born with a limited number of eggs. As you age, those numbers decline, and so does the quality of your eggs.

📍For most women, fertility begins to decrease in their late 20s or early 30s and starts to fall rapidly by age 35. As a result, even if you’re otherwise healthy and fit, your declining fertility will reduce your chances of getting pregnant to about 5% by the time you’re age 40.

📍What time is the best for eggs to freeze?
To give yourself the highest chances of success, you could freeze your eggs in your late 20s or early 30s.

📍But if you’re diagnosed with an illness that may decrease the quality and quantity of your eggs, you might want to consider freezing your eggs even sooner.
