Centurion

The Picts, led by King Gorlacon, raided Roman outposts. After one of the raids, only Centurion Quintus, who is being captured by the Picts, manages to survive.
The task of destroying the Picts is entrusted to the 9th Legion, led by General Titus. To help the heroes give the tracker Etain. But the girl hates the Romans who killed her family, and decides to take revenge by trapping the legion. Only 6 legionnaires manage to survive, but their troubles do not end there.

Doctor: Avicenna's disciple

The action of this historical film about the Middle Ages takes place in 11th century England. Orphaned, the boy Robert asks the sorcerer Barber and gradually takes over his skills. But the hero does not want to stop there, realizing that the acquired skills are not enough to save people.

The kingdom of heaven

After a series of difficult events, the blacksmith Belian goes to the Holy Land. Baron Godfrey calls him there, declaring himself the father of the hero. But on the way to Jerusalem, Godfrey dies, and Belian's father's place passes. Thus, from a simple blacksmith, the hero turns into a noble knight and swears to the King of Jerusalem.

Inspired by the victory over the East Turkic Khaganate, Chinese Emperor Li Shimin sets out to conquer the early Korean state of Goguryeo. A powerful army defeats enemy troops and conquers fortresses.
By 645, only Annecy Fortress remained unconquered, and Li Shimin hoped to take it in just one day. Chinese troops far outnumbered Goguryeo's army, but there are many cases in history where numbers do not play a key role.

Confucius
The drama, included in the best historical films, tells the story of Confucius, for whom morality is paramount. The hero wants to save China from constant wars. To carry out his plan, the great sage helps the ruler of the kingdom of Lu.
The political elite is afraid of losing the puppet in the person of the ruler and their power, therefore they oppose the plans of Confucius. Disappointed at the top ruling the country, the sage goes on a trip to China, preaching his own principles.

Outlaw king
The historical film "Outlaw King" is set in 14th century Scotland. King Robert the Bruce, wanting to regain the independence of Scotland, declares war on England. Part of Robert's family is killed for immodest desires.
Now the main character is also driven by revenge. His faithful friend, James Douglas, is in a hurry to help the king free his native country. Will the comrades be able to complete what they have begun, given that their enemy is a strong and actively developing power?
