Cookies contain more energy...
than explosives.
Energy in food can be measured in calories, as well as in universal units of energy - kilojoules. When you eat, your body absorbs calories and turns them into energy to think, move, and live.
The body uses calories obtained from cookies and other foods gradually, that is, energy is released over a long period of time. Equally heavy cookies and explosives called TNT contain different amounts of potential energy. TNT, although it has less energy, explodes because it releases all the energy at once.
