Master artists-mosaicists of «Flormosaic» work with gem stones for over 25 years. And while all the plates must be located in the same plane.
Having studied the experience of masters of Florentine mosaic from many countries and contributing to the development of the art, our masters in modern realities have reached photorealism in their works using no pencil and paints but natural stone only .Works made in Flormosaic are very different from the traditional, they are realistic, and that is an innovation in the Florentine mosaic. Already
, our production allows the following works: finishing of facades, flooring, interior decoration of apartments, mosaic rosettes, painting, table tops, pilasters, columns, consoles, small architectural forms, fireplaces, baths, swimming pools, fountains. A very important area for artists-mosaicists of «Flormosaic» is the epitome of rock paintings in the style of realism which are performed in the technique of manufacturing virtually seamless mosaic of tightly fitting stone plates (Florentine mosaic). The material for such works are the unique natural minerals: jasper, agate, jade, lapis lazuli, cacholong, charroit, malachite, radon, serpentine, jasper, and many others. The main thing in choosing a stone - matching color and pattern to scenic design or sketch of the future mosaic. Thin stone plates with polished surface are assembled into the picturesque carpet so that to use natural stone surface pattern, natural color variations and line texture in the addition to color. Stone elements can be of any shape, but they are assebled together so tightly that no seams or even lines of the joint should not be seen. A feature of Florentine mosaic is their absolute uniqueness. Each mosaic is unique, as the drawing of each stone is unique and even with careful copying each mosaic differs of other one. And such mosaic does not tarnish or fade over time - for example, the ancient Florentine samples survived several centuries, and continues to shine pristine colors and patterns stone. Our works are only just beginning to enter the international art market, but now we can talk about the mosaic paintings, which have found their owners in Germany, France, Great Britain, Israel, Russia and the United States. Also we negotiate with art galleries from Germany, Spain, the US and China to place our work on their exchanges.
