We today visited -Kinawata, a youth group that is empowering youths through sustainable urban farming. We are inspired by the green space they have created which also acts as a central youth point.

We dialogued about a number of issues facing youths but also resolved to empower more young people for active citizenship and build stronger youth partnership synergies.

Congratulations to our mentee, Nyadoi Christine upon starting her community project.
Christine is using her academic break to engage school girls in Katajula Sub County who are in holidays through hand craft training. We believe that this will go a long way in economically empowering the girls while combating teenage pregnancy and school drop out among girls in this community.
We need more of you Christine!!
