Service providers who do such curtain jobs for people tetulibasonyiwa. Dala dala whhyyy.
And then someone else has to come in and client spends new money. You guys curtains are expensive don't play with your money.
First two pictures are of a site we are trying to rectify. I have attached some of our curtain work in the subsequent pictures . It doesn't have to be perfect but it can be better.
Ok. Some ground rules.
1. Curtains should kiss the ground. Not lie on it but kiss it.
2. Tailoring should be professional. Curtains do a lot for the space. However beautiful the interior is, if the curtains are shabby it won't come together. They should be even, neat and on theme.
3. Where you have one meter measurement, do x3 for the curtains. At best 2 and a half. For them to have gathers and layer properly.
4. About rods. Always make the rods longer than the actual window or door, when they take up wider wall space it makes the room seem wider and more elegant.
5. Hang curtains close to the ceiling. Makes room longer.
6. Where possible, please have plain curtain fabrics. Patterned ones will make it difficult for you to accessorise the space. For instance you can't have patterned curtains, patterned carpet, patterned pillows etc... Causes visual clutter. Plus The rest are easier to Change than curtains.
7. Cheap is not always cheap. Am begging you.
8. You can even choose to do it yourself. Just follow the guidelines...
