: Mujib enters race to unseat Magogo Moses

"I'm going to participate in this football political season and I have offered myself to lead the struggle and reclaim the lost glory of this game. I will stand for FUFA presidency in the coming elections because I believe we need to have system and structures such that individuals don't come back to deprive us from this beautiful game."

"Selfish agendas have infiltrated the game and we need to reflect as a country because I think the game of football needs a reset. Football belongs to Uganda and Ugandans should be part of the agenda. The business of taking shortcuts has destroyed the game by attaching every money that comes from the government to the National team.

"Uganda Cranes has just 25 players, what about the other 16 millions footballers countrywide who want to break through and make it to the senior team?!!.

"There's no room for politics in the game of football. We can participate in politics but not to bring politics into the game and once you're in football, the color of your party doesn't matter to avoid divisionism in the game yet it's where we are heading to."
