SafariShare Commute:
In bid to ease transport troubles for daily commuters, we introduced the commute feature that allows drivers who consecutively ply a particular route to post running trips.

How it works:
The commute feature permits both passengers and drivers to set travel calendars on the app indicating set off time and return time on particular days of the week. The driver sets the travel dates once, chooses the route to work and back and the app automatically refreshes everyday to show trips for a week ahead. This implies that the driver doesn’t have to labour posting trips daily. He/she instead accepts requests from passengers. Passengers too can book trips for the whole week.

Example:
Driver X living in Entebbe and working at Nakawa creates a commute running from Monday to Friday, indicating the time he or she leaves home for Nakawa, and the time he or she sets off from Nakawa for home. Passengers along the route may choose to travel daily with such a driver to work and return daily from work as indicated in the commute schedule.

PS:
The driver has a section for a comment where he or she can indicate anything like “I make daily stopovers at Kalerwe to pick my child from school for 5 – 10mins”.
