Children need to be allowed to try things out, make mistakes and be guided to problem solve. 🙂. They will be better adults for it.

Discipline! What methods do you use to discipline your child? Are they effective? Time to reflect. 🤔

Instead of telling your child what to be, seek out a child's interests and strengths, and motivate them and nurture them, giving a child room to be themselves with your guidance. Everyone is most confident when they are being true to themselves.

. Communicate to them and show them that you believe in them. Children feed off of the significant adults in their lives. 🙂

WAYS TO BUILD CONFIDENCE IN CHILDREN!
Welcome to this episode and take a listen as our psychologist Letisia Murungyi discusses and shares ideas on how to build up a child's confidence.
Food for thought...
"Kids naturally want to make a meaningful contribution but to succeed at a young age, parents must believe they have what it takes to do it. Behind every (young) child who believes in himself is a parent who believed first" Matt Jacobson
"With realisation of one's own potential and self-confidence in one's ability, one can build a better world" Dalai Lama
