Speaking of creations, today I have a special treat for you all β a captivating Lebanese recipe that can be whipped up in just 30 minutes. Prepare your taste buds for an explosion of exquisite flavors and aromatic spices!
π± Lebanese Patate Harra (Spicy Potatoes) π
Ingredients:
- 4 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the potato cubes. Cook until just tender, around 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the cooked potatoes and sautΓ© for a couple of minutes until they start to turn golden brown.
3. Combine the paprika, cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Sprinkle this spice mixture over the potatoes, ensuring an even coat. Keep stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
4. Cook the potatoes until crispy and golden brown, approximately 10-12 minutes. The spices will infuse the potatoes with an irresistible aroma and flavor.
5. Transfer the potatoes to a serving dish, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot with lemon wedges on the side. Squeeze the lemon over the potatoes just before indulging in this scrumptious dish.
