ALIMPA Vs MEDIA
For so long I have been seeing the media putting Ronald Alimpa on the floor of criticism based on the allegations of COPY N PASTE in his MUSIC more so his HIT "SEAN DON" mostly known as OLUSUKU LWA CEMENT. First of all I have not come to prove if he copied that song or not but my issue is WITH HOW THE MEDIA HAS HANDLED THIS ISSUE!!!!

Ok let's assume it's true he copied the song, we can't ignore the fact that in Uganda we have lots of people who have copied songs but they have not raised to the attention from the public like this young man!!!! If we are to list songs that were copied and became hits you will not get more than 20 hits!!! So before we criticise Alimpa let's first APPRECIATE the grace of Allah that is upon this man.

Here in Uganda we have so many artists who have have gone beyond just copying but have gone to the extent of signing LIKE SOME OF THE BIG ARTISTS, we have many who sing like Jose Chameleone, GRAVITTY OMUTUJJU , David Lutalo Music, Ziza Bafana , Mariam Ndagire , Sheebah etc but they have not been recognised or got the same attention and liked like Alimpa, so before we criticise him let's appreciate the fact that if he copied HE COPIED RIGHT and his song sounds even better than the so called original song, "TO ME".

We should also appreciate that if it wasn't for Alimpa's song, 99% of us wouldn't have heard of the RADIO'S SONG and it's on this point that I question myself where did this young man ever find this song???? It means there was some closeness between this man and the source of that song🙏🙏

It's on this point that I call upon the media to always go slow on trying to pull down those who are on the raising mode. Let's always avoid to be attributed on the failure of anyone in LIFE!!!! If this young man is to fail let him fail on his own.

JINJA CITY MAYOR SHUTS DOWN National Unity Platform

The Mayor of Jinja City (Kasolo Peter Okocha) who went through on NUP ticket, Has appointed the land Board, City Service Commission and City Public accounts committee shamelessly he has not given any appointment to a member who belongs to National Unity Platform (NUP) to be specific, all those who are appointed belong to NRM.

This clearly shows that he does not appreciate the party that gave him the opportunity to become a mayor.
It's so surprising that the people who fought tooth and nail so that he doesn't become the mayor, are the very people he has appointed on the above committees. WHAT A TRAITOR!
What has been done today, was even done when he was appointing executive committee members.

NOTE: When the NUP leaders in Jinja, tried to approach him, these were his words "Please Please leave me alone, being the mayor is not like being an MP, for my case as the mayor, I have to work directly for Museveni (NRM). For your information it's not NUP in power but NRM, when time of looking for votes comes, I will go back to NUP, but per now, I have to work for NRM."

These two gentlemen (NUP diehards) below were kidnapped yesterday from Bugembe by unknown gunman in a drone Ube 895m at around 3pm and up to now there is no information concerning their whereabouts. The Jinja city woman MP Manjari Kyebakutika and NUP leaders in Busoga region are working tooth and nail to locate them.
