Farooq is a 19 year old gentleman who came to our office complaining of pain of one of his teeth in the anterior upper jaw.

On our assessment we found out that he had a grossily carious 21,22 and dentinal caries on 11$12. On further examination we found out that actually 21 was the one paining and we started a root canal on it.

After a period of one week he came back and we finished the root canal we completely obturated the root and composite buildup done and this restored the shape of the tooth

For 11,12 teeth were prepared, the decaying part thoroughly cleaned and composite fillings done and thus the esthetic status of the teeth improved
For 22 we are going to start a root canal on it and then do composite buildup on it.

Gum recession
Gum recession also known as receding gums or gingival recession is the exposure in the roots of the teeth caused by a loss of gum tissue or migration of the gum margin from the crown of the teeth. The most common cause of gum recession is periodontal disease and brushing way too hard.
A very common way to treat gingival recessy is gum grafting where areas of gum recesion can be regenerated with a new gum tissue using a variety of gum grafting procedures by a dentist

Dental trauma

Duncan,18years of age fall and they where playing football and had his tooth half broken.
He visited our office today complaining of pain whenever he opens the mouth so he only talk on taking pain killers. He visited us seeking for help.

Our dentist did a single phase root canal treatment of the tooth to get rid of the pain on opening the mouth, tooth was prepared and a crown delivered to restore the original shape of the tooth and for esthetic purposes.

Increased risk of tooth decay. Brushing twice a day and flossing can also fall by the wayside for many reasons including morning sickness, amore sensitive gag reflex, tender gums and exhuastion. This causes decay

Pregnancy tumors. This is often during the second trimester. It's not a cancer but just swelling that happens between teeth. They are related to excess plague, bleeding easily. They diapear after your baby is bone but sometimes are removed by dentist

What is an abscess?

A dental abcess is a collection of pus that can form inside the teeth in the gums or in the bone that holds the teeth in place. It's caused by a bacterial infection. An abscess at the end of a tooth is called periapical abcess. An abscess in the gym is called a periodontal abcess

Gingival hyperplasia

Gingival hyperplasia also known as gum enlargement is described an overgrowth of the gym tissue surrounding the teeth.

Although there are many predicted causes of this rare condition, poor oral hygiene and the over use of certain medications are two of the main causes of gingival hyperplasia. Extremely puffy,red swollen gums that seem to bubble over the teeth is a good indication of gingival hyperplasia.

The risk of developing gum disease increase s with the amount of time that gingival hyperplasia left untreated. In early stages, treatment for this condition is the improvement of oral hygiene. In more severe causes, surgical means are necessary to correct gingival hyperplasia.

What is dental floss?
Dental floss is a cord of thin filaments used in interdental cleaning to remove food and dental plague from between teeth or places where toothbrush has difficult reaching or is unable to reach.
