As the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence conclude, let’s reflect;
✅Awareness and Progress:
While we've seen significant strides in raising awareness, many survivors still hesitate to come forward. Breaking the silence remains a critical step in dismantling the structures that perpetuate gender-based violence.
✅Breaking the Silence:
The power to change starts with conversation. We urge everyone to create safe spaces for dialogue, where survivors feel empowered to share their stories without judgment or fear. Let's ensure they know they are heard, believed, and supported.
✅Addressing Stigma:
Stigma shrouds survivors in a veil of silence. Let’s dismantle the judgment and shame associated with speaking out. By fostering an environment of understanding and empathy, we can encourage survivors to break free from the shackles of silence.
✅Advocacy for Change:
Our collective voice is a powerful tool for change. Let's advocate for policies that protect survivors, eradicate stigmas, and ensure justice is accessible. By addressing the underreporting issue, we pave the way for a safer, more compassionate society.
💜 Commitment Beyond the 16 Days:
As the 16 Days are ending, let’s commmit to ending gender-based violence doesn't. Let's carry the momentum forward, working to eliminate the barriers that prevent survivors from seeking help.
Be reminded that you are not a disappointment to God; you are a testament to His boundless love and creativity. Your identity is a beautiful reflection of the spectrum of human existence.
May you find strength in knowing that you are deeply loved just as you are. Let your unique light shine brightly, illuminating the path towards acceptance, love, and understanding. God's love knows no bounds, and neither does your worth.
On this World AIDS Day, our community stands united under the theme "Let Communities Lead."
Let's amplify the voices of those affected, celebrate their strength, and work together for a future free from HIV/AIDS stigma.
Let this year’s theme be a reminder for us to recognize the vital role communities play in supporting, educating, and advocating for one another.
During the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, we unite our voices in a resounding call to end violence against women and girls.
These 16 days serve as a poignant reminder of the urgency and importance of our shared responsibility.
Together, we raise awareness, challenge harmful norms, and advocate for lasting change. Let's use this time to educate ourselves and others, fostering a culture of respect and empathy for women and girls.
A very kind reminder to the Archbishop that love and acceptance should be at the heart of any religion. Hopefully days of fasting and prayer can be considered to have more of that in this deeply religious country.
It’s Monday, let’s go get it. May this new week be your best one yet. Keep going, 2023 is not over yet.
As the transgender week almost comes to an end, we thought we should remind you about some of these myths and the facts.
Conversion therapy is more damaging than helpful. Let’s say no to it.

🏳️🌈 Loneliness knows no season, and the holidays can be tough for many in the LGBTQ community. Let's come together and create a warm and inclusive space for those who may feel alone. Reach out, share love, and show kindness. You are not alone! 💖
Here are some ways to beat loneliness during the holidays:
✅Connect Virtually: If you can't be with your chosen or biological family in person, connect with them virtually through video calls. Virtual gatherings can help you feel connected and part of the celebration.
✅Chosen Family: Remember that your chosen family can be just as important, if not more so, than your biological one. Spend time with friends and loved ones who accept and support you for who you are.
✅Volunteer: Consider volunteering your time to help those in need. Giving back to your community can provide a sense of purpose and connection.
✅Self-Care: Take time for self-care. Treat yourself to a favorite meal, a movie night, or a relaxing bath. It's important to nurture your well-being.
✅Outdoor Activities: Get outside and enjoy nature. Go for a walk, hike, or simply spend time in a park. Nature can be a great source of solace and peace.
✅Seek Professional Help: If loneliness is causing significant distress, don't hesitate to seek support from a mental health professional who has experience working with LGBTQ individuals.
May we experience beauty, love and kindness this coming festive season.

Your reminder that hate speech is deadly. It leaves scars that run deep. It divides communities, fuels discrimination, and perpetuates harm. Let's recognize the destructive impact of our words and choose empathy over hostility.

The extreme homophobia and transphobia that continues to be preached by our spiritual leaders was brought up in a recent tweet questioning why people leave the church.
Our hearts continue to ache as we witness people withdrawing from places of worship due to homophobia and transphobia. Everybody should be able to find love and acceptance in their religious groups. Let's educate ourselves, oppose prejudice, and work to create inclusive, affirming settings for everyone.
Dear God, as we begin this week, we come before you with open hearts and minds. We pray for unity and understanding among all your children. May our faith be a source of love and acceptance, allowing us to create a space where every unique journey is embraced. Help us to see the beauty in diversity and to walk together in harmony.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
The Ministry of Health now has a sudden concern for LGBTQ+ healthcare which is quite the about-face.
Remember their silence when lives and rights were at stake.
We can only hope they consider genuine commitment rather than PR moves.
HAPPY NEW WEEK 😍😍
Heterosexual folks benefiting from LGBTQ+ achievements and opportunities while being homophobic is a stark contradiction. Let's challenge prejudice and work hand in hand for a world where everyone is respected and celebrated.
As we bid farewell to July, we celebrate the resilience and strength of each and every one of us. Looking back may we be reminded of the progress we've made and the work that lies ahead.
Together, we stand united, breaking barriers, and paving the way for a more inclusive world. Let's keep fighting for equality, acceptance, and love in all its beautiful forms.
As we get into the weekend and a time of worship for many of us, we just want to state that it's essential to note that not all religious communities hold negative views toward LGBTQ+ individuals.
Many religious groups and denominations are increasingly embracing LGBTQ+ acceptance and inclusivity, challenging traditional interpretations, and promoting love, compassion, and understanding for all individuals regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
If you have not found one yet, no pressure, you can always worship online with a safe community, or even alone, thankfully our relationship with God is majorly personal and needs no one's approval. ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND
