PARTAKER OF THE GOD NATURE I

“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature…” (2 Peter 1:3-4 KJV)

When you got born again, you were ushered into glory and excellence, this is your new address. And in this place, God has given to you exceeding great and precious promises, that by these you might be a partaker of the divine nature. What are the exceeding great and precious promises? “…all things that pertain unto life and godliness…” (2 Peter 1:3 KJV)

God is not planning to give you all things, He has given them to you already. You’re not on your way to the Promised Land, you have arrived. Praise the Lord! God has already made provision for whatsoever you need.

The only thing you must settle is this, “Has God asked you to do what you’re doing? Has God sent you to the place you are in right now?” If He has, then all the things you need are right before you. God placed them in your path before you got to that point. Hallelujah!

Through your interaction with all things that pertain to life and godliness, you become a partaker of the divine nature. The word “divine” (Greek “theios”) actually means God. You are a partaker of the God nature.

When the tax collectors came to ask for the temple tax, Jesus said to Peter “…go down to the lake and throw in a line. Open the mouth of the first fish you catch, and you will find a coin. Take the coin and pay the tax for both of us.” (Matthew 17:27 NLT) Jesus talked with boldness like He had kept the money in the fish. That is the divine nature! And guess what, you are a partaker of this same nature. Therefore you can have amazing miracles happening around you every day. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
God has brought me to a place of glory and excellence. I am a partaker of the God nature, therefore my life is not ordinary. I manifest the supernatural every day by the power of the Spirit. I am heavenly just like Jesus Christ my Lord. Hallelujah!
