This award is “designed to give recognition to tutors who provide extraordinary service to the students they work with, the center, and the community,” and each Writing Center in the region can nominate only one tutor per year. Hannah’s written tutoring philosophy impressed the award committee deeply; one member wrote, “I am incredibly moved by her dedication to compassionate and empathetic tutoring that seems to focus on helping the writers grow.”
This is only the second time in 22 years that an ACU Writing Center tutor has won this award. Congratulations, Hannah!
