Many of you have asked if I’m doing Santa minis this year. The short answer? Yes!
Recently, I have felt a calling to use my time and talents to benefit a very special cause: our very own Imagination Library through United Way of Abilene.

📘WHAT IS IMAGINATION LIBRARY?📕

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is an international program that mails free books monthly to children from birth to the age of 5. That means 60 books for one child before they start kindergarten! Abilene United Way has brought this program to our community. It is an amazing initiative used to increase reading literacy in children before they start kindergarten.

This organization I am a part of is doing a phenomenal job, but registrations are outpacing our funding. So, I’m taking the opportunity to support this fantastic program by donating 100% of proceeds from my portrait sessions.

This structure was hanging high above our heads (about 10-15 feet in diameter) as we walked down a wondrous path of brightly lit Christmas lights, over 3 million lights in the whole park to be exact. What a great Christmas memory for the whole family to enjoy! Thank you to all who volunteered to make it a wonderful experience!
