Congratulations to ADM's Esports team for placing Runner-Up at the State tournament this past Friday!

Esports concluded its regular season by going undefeated in the Fall Season Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. The team was crowned champions of Class 3, Division 1 with a record of 7-0, winning 14 games.

The State Finals Tournament was held Friday in Marshalltown. The Tigers took down Ames and Iowa City West before falling in the Championship match vs. Linn-Mar. Congratualtions!!!

The ADM Alumni Association would like to recognize the following students who attended schools which now comprise the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District and who served their country, including 17 KIA alumni. We honor their service and sacrifice.

Nominations to be considered for the 2024 ADM Athletic Hall of Fame are due by December 2nd.

To be considered, candidates must be former ADM HS athletes / coaches / community supporters. Student athletes must have graduated 8+ years previous to the current year to be considered.

The ONLY way for individuals to be in the HOF is to first be nominated! Official nomination form and more instruction can be found at http://admalumni.com/hall-of-fame/

It's here! 🐯🌽 Enjoy celebrating this weekend at the following events - we hope to see a lot of familiar faces around!

The 2023 ADM Alumni All Class Reunion begins tonight, 5-7 pm at the ADM High School (7/8) Commons. Dinner will be available from 5-7 pm. served by the ADM After Prom Committee as a fundraiser.

The 2023 ADM Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is tonight also. The inductees will be honored at the All Class Reunion in the 7/8 commons, with the formal ceremony at 7:00 pm in the high school auditorium. This event is FREE and open to the public!

The 21st annual 2023 ADM Alumni Golf Tourney tees off tomorrow (Friday) morning at 9 am.

Of course there's a whole HEAP of fun on Saturday at the Adel Sweet Corn Festival! Look for many alumni class floats in the parade, and many reunions all weekend long.

Did you know that the ADM Alumni Association has yearbooks from Adel, Adel-DeSoto, ADM, Central Dallas, DeSoto, Minburn, and Washington Township loaded and ready to view? And they are searchable, too?
Board Member Jim Peters remarked that the Association was established for a central way for alumni to connect and to learn about the history they share. However, anyone with an interest can become a member for $10, not just alumni, to take advantage of the perks of membership.

Can you believe it's late July? Below are the class reunion plans we have received for SCF Weekend (August 11-12). Please contact Barb ([email protected]) with updates or additions.

Class of 1953 - Will gather at the All Alumni Reunion in the 8-9 Commons on Thursday, August 10th to celebrate their 70th year anniversary! Further plans will be made at that time. Contact Lyle Roberts with any questions at 941-586-9313.

Class of 1958 - Thursday, August 10, 4 PM - Happy Hour at Kay’s house, then at 5 PM All Class Reunion at ADM Commons. Friday, August 11, 5 PM dinner at the Trostel’s Greenbrier Restaurant in Johnston. Saturday, August 12, is the Sweetcorn Festival. We aren’t planning on being in the parade, we’re just going to be casual old observers! Contact Kay with any questions, at [email protected].

Class of 1968 - Any class members in town for Sweetcorn Days will meet up at Dennis Leininger’s shop on Green St. after the parade to eat lunch. Any further plans will be made from there. Contact Lana at [email protected] for updates.

Class of 1973 -Their 50th is being held at 5:00pm, Saturday, August 12, at Hillcrest Country Club. They plan to go to the All Class Reunion on Thursday, be in the parade Saturday morning, and then the tailgate at Dennis’s! Contact Linda at [email protected] with any questions.

Class of 1983 - Is planning to be in the parade on Saturday morning, August 12th, and then gather at Kip Hutzell’s home at 5:00pm, 108 N. 5th Street, Adel to party. If you have questions, contact Laurie at [email protected]

Class of 1988 - Will be having their 35th class reunion will be Friday, August 11th, at the Adel Family Fun Center. They also intend to have a float in the parade Saturday morning. Contact Marc at [email protected]

Class of 1993 - will be having a reunion picnic Saturday, August 12th in the afternoon at the Van Werden residence at 1025 S 14th, at approximately 12-2pm, but time is up in the air. We are doing party subs....everyone bring sides or dessert. There will be outdoor games for adults & water toys for kiddos. Contact Natasha at [email protected] with any questions.

Class of 1998 - Will meet at 8:30am by the Brickyard for the parade on Saturday. Bring a bag of candy to throw. Red & black tie-dyed t-shirts will be available for approximately $5 apiece, sizes Large through XXLarge. Their reunion will be held at the Island Campground shelter house from 4-8pm. Bring meats to grill, a side to share, and your drink of choice. There will be ladder golf, bags, and yard games. Kids welcome. Check the "ADM Class of 98" page on Facebook for any changes.

Class of 2003 - Will have a dinner and social at Hillcrest Country Club on Friday, August 11th, and are planning to be in the Sweetcorn Days parade on Saturday morning. Contact Jessie at [email protected] with any questions.

Class of 2013 - Will gather at the Beer Garden at the Sweetcorn Festival stage on Saturday, August 12th, 8:00pm. If you have any other questions contact Madi Gavin Danielson at 515-208-0455.

It's that time of year again! We are looking to identify 2023 legacy alumni as we have in past years. We have already identified 8 legacy students in this years graduating class - we know there are many more!

If you know any students in the Class of 2023 with direct family ties to other generations of ADM grads, let us know.
