The Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association (MHSBC), has also recognized the Adrian Baseball Team with Academic All-State honors! The team had over a 3.00 GPA to be accepted. Congrats gentlemen!

Update from MSHSAA and the Athletic Director from Holden:

The tournament we went played in was violated MSHSAA rules with the time limit for the games. Therefore, each team in the tournament has to take a forfeited loss for each of the contests.

So if you see our record on the MSHSAA website, this is why that is.

The first live pitching of the season was a success vs the Adrian Baseball Alumni with an 11-3 result for the high school team.

Thanks to all of those that came out and volunteered their time vs the high school team as they prepare for the season. They all appreciated it and had a a blast!

If you missed playing the game, don’t worry, we will have strictly an alumni baseball game this summer, so get your arms loose. The game will be posted at a later date.

Tomorrow’s scrimmage vs the alumni will be ON! Game will start at noon and be timed for 1 hour and 45 mins. Come out and see who wins! Should be a fun time!

A few of the guys will be heading out this evening to local buisnesses about sponsoring for the team co****le tournament.
They are volunteering to do this for the team. We appreciate all the donations to the team in advance and if you cannot donate at this time, the tournament is not until the 4th of February. Do not feel obligated to donate!

Merry Christmas! Cherish your time with loved ones over the holidays.

Winter Weights will begin tomorrow after school. They will be around an hour on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays until March.

I highly encourage all student athletes not in a winter sports to be there.

22 years ago that will live in infamy. We will never forget those who lost their lives that very day. Thank you to all first responders out there, you are all heroes! 🇺🇸

I know this season fell short for all of us. We had a lot of accomplishments this season that cannot go unrecognized. Great job this season and I know a lot of us are looking forward to our next campaign.

Please feel free to let me know of any games you may have this off-season and we’d love to come watch a game or two.

Keep your spirits up, work still isn’t finished for us. Make yourself better to make the team better come next season.

Congrats to the Adrian Baseball team on being selected for Academic All State! The team, with all the guys, had a cumulative GPA of 3.26!

Also, the following were selected for Individual Academic All State with the following criteria:
- Start in 70% of the games
- Be in the top 25% of their class or an ACT score of at least a 24
- A minimum 3.5 GPA

Thursday (4/6) vs. Holden will be at Adrian and not at Holden @4:30.

As of now, we will continue to use the first base dugout for home games. We will continue to try and improve the aspects of the third base dugout, along with the dirt outside of it. We will continue to make it a more level playing surface more suitable for us.

Blackhawks win 7-2 over Leeton!

Shaky start vs. Leeton’s All-State pitcher at the beginning, but the boys strung a few hits together in the fifth and never looked back.

Heck of an outing by Bryce Chulufas on the hill with a complete game, 10 K performance.

Great job, Blackhawks.

Tomorrows games are cancelled due to wind chills in the teens.

Blackhawks return for the home opener on Monday vs. Windsor.
