Hey guys, we are back up and running after 40 radiation treatments and a few months of fear.
Feast your eyes on this sequintal serial number pair of ELAM 251's
and these sequential serial number vintage Neumann U87's, one of them has a new head basket assembly due to a breakage of the original one. They sound and measure identical to each other.

Still going strong, lots of work coming in.
Today we finished up a beautiful pair of all original U 47's that are within 2 serial numbers
of each other, a C24 and we installed a new Tim Campbell CT 12 capsule in a C12.
I love Tim's capsules In my opinion they sound better and are more consistent and made better than the original CK12.
Everyone of these that we have installed the client has been thrilled.

Today we are removing a screwed up output transformer in a original stereo Neumann SM2 AC701 tube microphone and we are sending it out to be rewound.

Sorry I have not posted for a while. We have been swamped but we are catching up.
Here is a U67 that was in need of a full rebuild. It had been modified by another microphone technician and the client was not happy with the way it sounded and wanted the whole electronics put back to original. It had been so heavely modified that complet circuits had been removed so it needed a complete rebuild

Just got in this beautiful
ELAM 251
I had to take photos of this one
S/N 930
The wax seal was still over the screws
from the factory about 60 years ago.
Almost in perfect condition.
The pattern selector switch was a little cracked and the ball bearing came out.
No big deal.
