Another update: Due to the rain CG is having to move their Line Drive camp from SRP Park to Complete Game from 10-11. Our tryouts will now be from 11:15-12:30. The tryouts are still Inside at CG.

Update: Due to weather forecast tryouts will be moved indoors from 10:30-12.

After a very rusty day yesterday going 1-1 the boys got back on track today winning 2 games by a combined score of 24-2. Congratulations to this crew!

A huge Congratulations to Easton Davis for winning the Road Runner skills competition in Cooperstown, NY today! He’s always the fastest 12U kid at any complex we play at and he was again today on the big stage at Cooperstown. He blew away the competition with 78 teams participating. Great job Easton!!

Congratulations to these boys on a great weekend of baseball! They went 5-0 this weekend in the East Coast Championship Tournament in Augusta, GA. In the 5 games they outscored their opponents 66-13.

Congratulations to these boys for going 5-0 and winning the Gold bracket Super NIT Championship in Columbia, SC this weekend with 21 teams in our bracket. They had to win 2 extra innings games on Sunday including an 8 inning championship. Great job boys!

Really proud of this group even though they fell short in the gold bracket championship game to the Midlands Mavz (formerly Columbia Canes) 8-6. They had 3 solid wins to earn their way to the finals. Great job boys!

Our team was formed in the Fall of 2020. We knew it would be rough in the beginning and that turned out to be an understatement. We didn’t win a single USSSA that first fall. Moving to the spring of 2021 we had a little roster turnover, but we had 7 boys who stuck it out and are still here today as we are about to begin our 6th season together this spring. We have 1 kid who is about to start his 5th season, 2 kids their 4th and 1 who has been with us the past 2 seasons. Looking back, the spring of 2021 was the big turning point for this team moving forward. The original 7 with the addition of others to follow really worked hard and improved in the offseason and the results started showing as we went 15-15 in the spring of 2021. Every season since then, not without bumps in the road they have continued to improve and so did their record. This past year Fall/Spring season 2022 these boys went from being winless a few seasons prior to earning the Points Race Championship in the state of SC going 34-14 in 11AA out of almost 100 teams who competed during this time period. To start where these boys started and achieving this accomplishment with minimal roster turnover was an amazing feat and something they can always be proud of and will always remember. It’s a joy being around this group and watching them grow and I couldn’t be happier for their deserving accomplishment.

Today we wrapped up our 12U fall season. We were not able to play today due to the rain. However, the boys were awarded gold bracket champions by claiming the #1 overall seed out of 11 teams going 2-0 during pool play on Saturday in the Winter Nationals in Augusta, GA. The boys closed the season out strong by winning their final 6 games and 8 of their last 9. Really looking forward to the spring season!!

These boys went 4-0 this weekend winning the Gold Bracket Fall Legends NIT in Columbia, SC sporting their breast cancer awareness uniforms. Great job boys!!

Congratulations to Henry Rivers on being selected as team MVP this past weekend in Charleston,SC. Henry batted .750 going 6 for 8 at the plate. He also threw 5 solid innings on the mound. Great job Henry!

After a tough Saturday in a loaded Mayfest Mayhem tournament these boys bounced back and won 2 games on Sunday to bring home the hardware in the Silver bracket in Columbia, SC. They will be back in action this weekend in Greenville, SC.
