We had a great opening weekend last Saturday at home. We are on the road this weekend. Our players look forward to seeing you there!

Congratulations to our 12U and 13U Akron Armor teams. While we came up a bit short, great things are ahead!Both teams faced some amazing competition.

Our 13U placed runner up in the gold bracket after stalling inside the 10 on the game winning drive, yet still automatically qualified for the D1 Nation nationals in Texas in December. Both get a well deserved week off. The real work begins afterwards!

Proud of our Akron Armor young men. Our 12U is playing in the D1 Nation Silver Championship at 6:00 PM and our 13U is playing at 7:30 PM in the Gold Championship (both at the Hall of Fame Village). Come on through if you are around.

We are looking for a Defensive Coordinator for our very talented 12u team for the fall season. We are looking for someone who has real experience. Please send us a message if you would like to be considered.

We can't let this day go by without giving a happy birthday shout-out to the Akron Armor founder/current executive board member/advisor, Dale Thomas!

Dale got it all started in 2021, and now we continue to build upon that foundation. Happy bday our guy!

We wanted to clarify eligibility questions concerning youth football starting in 7th grade.
* If you chose to play football for an OHSAA Middle School you will ONLY be allowed to play your 6-8 game schedule for your school. No playoffs, no state tournament, no regional/ national tournament or any extra football of any kind. This includes 7v7 and spring football.

* If you choose to play for an independent organization like Akron Armor we do not have those limitations. You can play spring ball, any tournament your team chooses, 7v7 and all the playoffs associated with your league's governing body. You would expect to play at least double the amount of games you would vs Middle School.

We hope this clears up the difference and all the questions people have concerning their options. GO ARMOR!

Another very successful Akron Armor combine. From the AA board and AA coaching staff, we are very thankful for all that came out this weekend. Its going to be a great 2024 season!
