Challenge time!!! We have 4 great wineries, 1 distillery and 3 breweries in Stanly County. Come do our Sipping Through the Uwharries passport challenge!

Nestled in the heart of North Carolina, the Uwharrie Mountains rise as a hidden gem of natural beauty and outdoor adventure. These ancient, rolling hills provide a breathtaking backdrop to Stanly County, a place where nature and history converge.

Embark on a journey this summer like no other during our “Sip Through the Uwharries” passport event! Get ready for a memorable journey full of fun at our local vineyards, breweries, and distillery. This immersive experience is your ticket to adventure for both locals and tourists alike!

Here’s how it works: grab your passport at one of the fine establishments listed below, travel to each establishment, and collect a sticker from each one! Sip your way through our wines, whiskeys, and beers and immerse yourself into the local culture. After collecting all the stickers, mail your passport back to us (see address on back of the passport), with all of the collected stickers, and we will send you a special “Sip Through the Uwharries” t-shirt! The shirt has our special "Sip Through the Uwharries" Bigfoot logo!! Please share this post with your friends!!! Come Visit Stanly!!!

The Winter Wine Festival is THIS SATURDAY, February 24, 2024. More than 15 vendors will be featured and offering a variety of wines, foods, & wine accessories.

All of our vineyards and wineries are located in North Carolina, and two of them can be found right here in Albemarle, NC!

Armadillo Axe Throwing, Inc will be hosting Uwharrie Vineyards & Winery and Uwharrie Brewing will be hosting Stony Mountain Vineyards during the festival.

Be sure to get your tickets today so you don’t miss out on sampling some delicious wines from these neighboring vineyards.
