Our cover version of “Hey Tonight” by Creedence Clearwater Revival has been released today!!!

‘BURN ON THE BAYOU’ is out now via Ripple Music.

This massive 32-track compilation presents reimagined Creedence Clearwater Revival songs by bands from Ripple Music's past and present roster.

Ripple has released this on TRIPLE VINYL LP and DOUBLE DISK CD!!!

About the track:

We took this otherwise uptempo blues song by CCR and turned it into a dark, twisted song of nocturnal self-destructive behavior.

Brad and Roman handled all the instruments on this track, as Alex was temporarily living out of state during the arranging & recording process.

Recorded on the performance stage inside downtown Albuquerque’s venue, Launchpad, the band’s friend Andrew Godfrey did both the recording and mixing of “Hey Tonight”.

In less than two weeks our version of
“Hey Tonight" by American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival will be available on Ripple Music on December 8th, 2023.

‘Burn on the Bayou’ a massive 32-track compilation presents reimagined CCR songs from Ripple’s past and present roster.

In 1970 the song was released on CCR’s album ‘Pendulum’. It was released as a double A-side with another song from the same album, "Have You Ever Seen the Rain". The single peaked at position #8 on the Billboard Hot 100, but did not chart in the UK. In Denmark, it was their only song leading the charts.

John Fogerty wrote "Hey Tonight" and the band rehearsed it before the group hit the studio in November 1970. Fogerty regards the rocker as one of his better songs on the album despite the fact it was written in turmoil (the band was breaking up at that time).

We had the best photo shoot with Hayley Harper this past Sunday.
We went an hour south of Albuquerque to the Abo Ruins near Roman’s childhood stomping grounds.
Roman told us stories of growing up near the ruins and we had a big ol’ home cooked lasagna dinner at his Mom’s house.
We can’t wait to share Hayley’s photos. Book her for a photo sesh!

Ripple Music announces a December release for their Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute album "Burn on the Bayou", featuring 32 bands of the Californian heavy label's roster.

Set for a December 3rd release, "Burn on the Bayou: A Heavy Underground Tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival" will be released in 3xLP format for a total of 29 songs and 3 bonus tracks. The album features covers by Ripple Music bands JPT Scare Band, War Cloud, KIND, Great Electric Quest, High Priestess, Kabbalah, Stonebirds, Thunder Horse, Void Vator, Cities of Mars, Kyle Shutt (The Sword) and many more.

We just wrapped up recording a massive full-length RED MESA album with Matthew Tobias (photo R) of Empty House Studio here in Albuquerque, NM !!!
We’ve recorded three albums, one EP, and three singles with Matthew, so you know it’s going to sound killer.
You can expect the new Red Mesa album in 2024.
Now we need to send off for mastering, secure album artwork, take new band photos, send off for vinyl pressing, shoot a couple music videos, and run a PR campaign.
