Mandela's legacy as a peacemaker brought progress and hope, but the fight for justice continues. Still recovering from the effects of the global pandemic, the economy in South Africa is struggling and poverty has reached levels not seen in over a decade. Islamic Relief has been working on long-term development in South Africa.
