Meet in the parking lot on Rte. 191 -- Stockertown Trailhead. Easy ride. Ride on paved to crushed stone for 14 miles on shaded trail along Bushkill Creek. Option to do more miles. Directions from Rte. 33 North, take Stockertown Rte. 191 Exit, follow Rte. 191 N. about 1/4 mile. Parking lot is on right after passing an electrical substation. Can bring lunch / snack. General meeting and elections will take place on Tuesday March 12 at 7 pm at the Columbian Home (formerly KofC). Vote for your favorite candidates for officers for the coming year. There will also be a video presentation of our "Year in Review."
Ski club appreciation dinner- Blue Mt ski area on Wednesday 2/21/2024 at 7:00 pm. Dinner in Vista ballroom in the Summit Lodge. Ski clubs include Blue Ridge, Ingersoll Rand, Mack, Poco, Ptarmigan and Tannebaum.

Join us for Thursty Thursday at The Shanty on 19th at 6:00 pm. 613 N. 19th St. Allentown. Specials include $5 clams and $8 Lite pitchers. Karaoke begins at 8:30 pm.
The first ski party of the season will take place at Bear Creek ski area on Tuesday 1/16/2024. Plan to meet at the "B" lift at 9:30 to ski. Lunch is at 1:00 pm in The Bear Den, 2nd floor of the lodge. Cost is $5 and includes assorted sandwiches, chips, salads, veggies and dips. Feel free to bring a dessert to share if you like. Ptarmigans at the 12/12/23 General meeting enjoyed food, music and a visit from Santa!
December General Club meeting will be held on Tuesday December 12 at 7:00 pm at Christopher's Columbian Home. This will be a holiday party. Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share. There will be music and a sing-a-long.
We will be collecting a new unwrapped toy of book for Toys for Tots as well.
Ptarmigan Holiday Banquet is Saturday 12/9/2023 6 - 10 pm at The Meadows in Hellertown. Buffet dinner, DJ and dancing. Cost is $50 per person. The deadline to sign up has passed but contact Carolyn G. if interested.
Ptarmigans enjoyed a 4+ mile hike on Whitehall Parkway and soup and other goodies on Saturday 11/18/23 - a beautiful fall day! One of the fun events planned throughout the year for club members!

If you don't hike be at Kathy's at 3:00 pm for the soup.
The hike is from Troxel-Steckel Park, 4229 Reliance St in Whitehall.

Weather permitting, this is an outside event with a small bonfire.
