Pack 1600

As our Scout season begins to wrap up, we have had some amazing pack events altogether! In March we were able to celebrate each of our scouts with Awards in a very snowy ceremony! Despite the sudden snow squall and wind whipping through the trees, each Den leader presented our scouts with their awards for the year and Cubmaster Bill shared about all the events we were able do this year. We shared hot cocoa and cobbler and stayed warm as we cheered for each other! It was cold but fun!

This summer we also got to have our annual Camp Out at the Iron Pig's Stadium! Pack 1600 had a blast walking the field at the start of the game and camping out in tents in the outfield at night with snacks and a movie provided by the Iron Pigs. Both the scouts and their parents were worn out, but look forward to this event each summer!

The Columcille Hike in July was great for our Webelos- lots of pretty views and a fun time for all!

Since this summer, Pack 1600 has been busy! We can't wait to catch you up on what our Cub Scouts have been up to!

Let's start with Cub Scout Camp at Akeleland in June- our scouts got to camp out altogether with troops from all over the Lehigh Valley. The Boy Scouts helped lead them through activities such as archery, swimming, shooting, craft activities and of course lots of singing! At our campsite we enjoyed the campfire each night, making meals and sweet treats together as well as catching newts and resting between the fun filled days.

Next year we will move to Camp Minsi, and can't wait for lots more summertime memories!
