There was no mention of it on line or support groups for any EMS, Fire, or Police to be found either, The only mention of PTSD was the military and there was an alarming fact about su***de in EMS but no official statistics since most cases happened off duty they were not conside

Good Afternoon,
Firstly, I want to thank you for taking an interest in a research project that will study the PTSD levels in law enforcement. It truly is awesome that you would like to participate in this study. I am a police officer who is pursuing their Masters Degree in Forensic Psychology. I have to conduct a study on subjects who have been in law enforcement and have dealt with traumatic experiences. It is all anonymous and you don't have to worry about your information being put out into the public. Your names are safe with me and the only thing that will be published through this Thesis will just be the demographics. No names, addresses, or even phone numbers will be published. Lastly, I will provide the email address in order for you to get into contact with me. If you are interested in participating in this study. Please email me and I will provide the forms that will need to be filled out and I will also provide the questionnaires and surveys that are associated with this study. The main form that will need to be filled out is the informed consent form. That will be the first form they will need to review before answering any questions. As long as you fill out that form and say you are ok with doing this study, you can move onto the survey and questionnaires. If you would like to scan the documents back to my email, it will be encrypted onto my flash drive.

I am conducting research through Purdue University Global to obtain a Master’s Degree in Forensics Psychology.
The purpose of the research is to analyze the difference between genders in law enforcement and how they are able to deal with traumatic events. This study is going to record the traumatic events and how late career police officers work through the traumatic events.
