The Flour Artisan is a commercial bakery in Alpharetta, Georgia offering from scratch artisan breads, pastries, cakes and pies for custom orders and at the Roswell Farmers Market, Saturdays between 8AM and noon, April through October. I use the highest quality ingredients available, from local eggs to European butter, unbleached and whole grain flours, organic, seasonal fruits and my own home-raised sourdough, affectionately known as Georgia.

We had grilled pizza today with the dough I started yesterday. It is a no knead, long, cool fermentation dough. Itâs super easy to make and makes a wonderfully airy, flavorful crust! It also doesnât like to be handled much to not loose those delicious, airy pockets! Thank you and for some amazing recipes. They are a keeper!
These hunky chunky chocolate cookies (I renamed them đ) are amazing - perfectly crunchy outside and soft inside thanks to the almond flour! I did about half semi sweet and half over 60% chocolate chips/chunks (I was finishing off some bags!)

The Rye Loaf with Currants from the book is absolutely delicious - just the right amount of deep, dark rye flavor with the sweetness from the currants. It made for a perfect breakfast!
Finally baking some sourdough again - and had fun with scoring! Iâll cut it tomorrow, though I really have to hold back here đ That smell, that crust - I just want to rip right into it đĽ

A slice of banana bundt heaven - coconut, chocolate, banana combo with a chocolate glaze and coconut flakes - perfection!
I am still baking đMade this Last of the Bunch Banana Bundt today from âs Every Day Dorie. Overripe bananas plus coconut and chocolate and a splash of rum makes me want to call the Caribbean Banana Bundt! I added a chocolate glaze with coconut flakes - cuts down on the sweetness and adds more chocolate! Who doesnât want that?!
