Due to increased requirements that help keep the event a fun and safe event, our costs have doubled since 2022. The event is important for community building, building awareness of our Club and the fundraising we do, as well as recognizing the contributions of Dr. Houghton to our Club. As President of AACC, Don worked tirelessly to establish these collaborative, city-wide events to raise donatable funds, bring recognition to AACC and other car clubs in the Amarillo area, and provide small additional income to the City of Amarillo. There will be hundreds of cars on the street and upwards of a couple thousand spectators lining the route. There will be Amarillo Police Officers helping to control traffic on the route and they will issue citations for dangerous actions. 2) Please DO NOT THROW CANDY to the crowd. The danger of a child being injured while running into the street to pick up candy is too great. 3) All vehicles must BE STREET-LEGAL!
