Hi everyone!! I have some updates and news to share with you all..

As many of my clients already know, myself, as well my suite mates Lindsay Crowe with Indigo Aura and Kortney Lutter with Pure Healing Massage will be relocating in the next couple months. With the economy the way it is with prices on the rise all around us, our rental price for our current space is no exception. At a later date the three of us in Suite 3 will be posting with more information as we figure out our next move and exactly where we can go. So please stay tuned over the next month or two as we figure things out. Our goal is to find another location more in our budget in the interest of not having to raise the prices of the services we offer.

I'm not one to usually post about my feelings and thoughts online but I want to be so genuine with everyone... I am very sad about these circumstances. I first opened my business in Story City in 2020 and have had a wonderful time the last 3 years getting to know the community and the lovely souls in it. My hope is to remain close enough in the surrounding area to be able to continue serving those of you who have supported me along the way. Even if I am not operating out of Story City, I always wish for the community to prosper. I am so so grateful for the continued support and kind words that myself, Kortney and Lindsay have received from those who wish to see us succeed. You all have no idea how much that drives us to do our best❤️

With all of that being said I need to address what changes will be coming for my services. As of June 1st I will no longer be accepting appointments for manicure or pedicure services. With the spaces we are considering there will just be no room for me to offer both massage and nails. So I will be moving forward focusing on massage therapy. Although doing nails brings me so much joy, I prefer to focus on what I can help people with most. I am sorry for the inconvenience to my regulars but these truly are tough times. I am always happy to answer any questions folks might have about booking going forward, so please PM if needed!!! For now I am scheduling massages as normal through the summer until we figure out our timeline. When that happens, I will reach out to clients that are scheduled during the transition to reschedule. I appreciate everyones patience during this period.

For every food item or hygiene product donation dropped off to the spa, you will receive 1 raffle ticket per item! Box located in the spa. Hello everyone! I just wanted to make a post to thank everyone who gave my husband and I well wishes for our marriage!! We have had the most amazing time and I am truly grateful for all of the support from my wonderful clients!!!

As you can guess, I am changing my name and appreciate the patience as I work on updating things. I will be getting a new logo, website, business cards, etc. My hope is to not cause too much confusion to those that are new to seeing me or don't know me very well.

With the holidays rolling around the corner I would like to remind people to schedule their massages through the end of the year if you have not already!! I am also booking into 2023 as well. Hey everyone, happy Friday!! I know I'm not the most active poster but I wanted to give a couple updates.

Things have been very busy at the spa!! As many of you know I am getting married this September!! My fiancé Nate and I could not be more excited for this next chapter of our lives. Since we decided to do a Vegas wedding (yay!!!) I will be taking some extra time off in September as well as October for our reception.

With that being said, my books are currently at least 4 weeks out for a new appointment. I have extended my online booking period so folks can book farther out. I would like to remind those that like specific appointment times to please book out in advance as far as you can!!! I will do my absolute best to try and accommodate everyone, so I appreciate the patience in this busy time.

I also just wanted to give a shout out to all the amazing clients who have supported me in my business!!! We are coming up on 2 years of being open in Story City and I couldn't have done it without all the love and support. I am so so grateful for all of you❤️

This guest has been struggling with acne breakouts and blackheads. This is only 2 weeks after the facial (Right photo is 2 weeks after first facial. Photo on right has been flipped so it's the same side of the face). I circled where we can see a major difference! Less inflammation. Less blackheads and less pustules (yellowish whiteheads full of pus and bacteria!)

In acne prone cases, I need to see the guest every 2 weeks for a little while to do my best to calm inflamed skin and get the blackheads out.

She is doing home care! Home care can take your facial results from from 45% to an 85% difference! If you get a facial you can see about a 45% improvement in the skin after the service. If you use proper skin care, the results go up to 85%! You must do the work at home and with the right products. This may include me recommending skincare AND haircare products as well as a home care regimen with products and change of lifestyle.

This guest has combination skin and it took sometime to figure that out because there was so much oil going on.

In the treatment room, we're doing:

💜I alternate power treatments between Inflammation Inhibitor with Deeper Hydration or Oxygenation
💜Kerafole Mask with Inflammation Inhibitor and Deeper Hydration.
💜Cold Mummy Mask with Modern Yin aromatherapy and cold rollers (her favorite part!)
💜High Frequency to kill bacteria
💜Absolute Moisturizer
💜Recovery Serum

At Home:

💜Flash Foam Cleanser (has natural Enzymes! No need for extra exfoliation!)

💜Kerafole Mask 1x per week for 10-15 mins. or do a Kerafole 7 night purge when bad.
💜Change pillow case OFTEN some might have to do nightly!
💜Use non-comedogenic (non-pore clogging) products and makeup.
💜Wash face 2 times a day! Skin needs to be clean from all the pollution and natural oil buildup of the day so skin can shed nicely and cells turnover 30% faster at night! Wash in a.m. to remove the dirt, oil, sweat and mites you picked up while sleeping.
💜Wash face immediately after sports practice or game! Then wash hair as soon as you can.
💜Good haircare is so so important! It could cause buildup on the skin if it drips onto face. Get a good scalp cleansing shampoo if you're prone to oily skin and hair. Paul Mitchell Tea Tree is a great one!
💜If you wash your face in shower, do so after you wash your hair!
💜Always remove makeup and DO NOT use cruddy makeup wipes full of junk and alcohol. You can get nice eye makeup remover, makeup dissolver perfected or sensitive skin cleansing oil are great! You could double Cleanse with your Cleanser too. I use Agave Nector to remove my makeup!

💜💜💜Facials are a very important step in helping your skin. As an Esthetician, I read your skin and tell you exactly what skin type you have. You can get facials every 2-4 weeks depending on your skin type.
