A Tornado Watch is in still in effect until 9:00pm for Erie County. A Tornado WATCH means conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms to become tornadic, producing very strong and damaging winds . Residents should continue to monitor weather bulletins.

Morning swim lessons are canceled due to the weather. We will continue to monitor conditions for evening swim lessons at North Forest Pool. Thank you for your understanding.

If you enjoy interacting with the public, the Northtown Center at Amherst is seeking Guest Service Associates to greet patrons and guests. Individuals will be responsible for answering phones, handling and processing payments and directing ice facility visitors. Customer service, cash handling skills a plus. Semi-flexible scheduling! Non-traditional students and adults – are you looking for a pathway to success to continue your academic journey? SUNY Erie Community College Pathways program provides free classes to obtain a GED (High School Equivalency) and free Pre-collegiate classes to support math, reading and writing skills.
