Hey yall!!
I have received a lot of calls and texts asking if I’ve closed down- ABSOLUTELY NOT.
This has been my dream for as far back as I can remember. I have been closed since December due to an injury I acquired in August of 2023.
I put surgery off until the end of December so I could give my little boy the best Christmas. I had surgery on my labrum & bicep (shoulder). This has been by far the hardest recovery I have ever had. I truly appreciate everyone who has called, texted, messaged & checked on me. It truly means so much!! I do not have a start back date… yet! However, I’m going to therapy 3 times a week and pushing myself hard to get it back together so I can come back living my dream! I can’t wait to see all of you and get all the life updates that has happened since I’ve been gone! I will be updating as I know more.

I just wanted to let everyone know that doesn’t already know- I have moved! In the last few days of December I found a building in Gantt Lake, previously it was “joy to sew” & before then the old grisset store!
I spent a few months getting things updated & have been very blessed since opening! This address is 28868 HWY 29 Andalusia, AL. 36421.
Even though my sign is still up on East 3 Notch-Lox & Lashes only has one location and it is in Gantt.

I just wanted to hop on here and say THANK YOU! The support I have received since my move has been INCREDIBLE!
However, as a lot of you know I do hair & lash extensions. I split my time evenly between the two.
So for EYELASHES ONLY…
I am currently FULLY booked. If I loose (for whatever reason) any of my current lash ladies, I will make a post of a lash spot open!

I get the question ALL the time:
“Are these permanent?”
The short answer is no. There is NO way to have permanent eyelashes.
The long answer-
Just like the hair that grows all over your body (including your head) it goes through 3 growth cycles.
The anagen- these are baby lashes. Extensions are usually not applied to them. They are not strong enough to support the weight of an extension.

The catagen- these are the lashes that are the best to apply extensions to! They are stable & can carry the weight of an extension.

The telogen- this is the last phase of the growth cycle. After the lash completes this phase, it falls out & starts back over with the anagen phase.
30-40 percent of your lashes are currently in the anagen phase. This ensures you won’t be “bald” 🤣
On average you will have 90-180 lashes on each eye.
I take tweezers & separate each individual eyelash and apply an extension to each separate eyelash!
