It has begun! Halloween 2024 is in the works! Finished carving this last night to add to the pumpkin patch this year and should be adding a few more surprises.....stay tuned!

Happy Halloween! Come and enjoy the walk thru Halloween night and Trick or Treat from 6:30pm- 11pm! We will have full sized candy bars and minis when those run out. We will also have the walk thru open Wednesday night from 7:30-10pm for anyone that may have missed it. We have everything back up after the wind damage we took and most in working order. Bell Manor -1580 2nd St Anderson will not be on the Boo Cruise tonight. This is after cleaning up but I forgot a pumpkin in the water on the other side of the pond. The ferry was in the pond. Good thing I didn't put out the rest of the animatronics especially the giants.

UPDATE 2: We are so sorry but we will have to cancel tonight's Boo Cruise. The wind has been worse than I expected and although I secured things well, it wasn't good enough. It literally took an anchored down gargantuan spider and flipped it on its back! The wind isn't expected to die down enough to repair and set everything back up. It takes a lot of time to Plus trying to keep it up through the wind tonight. BUT, we will be going Halloween night no matter what. With some little extras we'll work on away from this wind. Again we apologize for this, we thought we had it 😔😭 We may do a few hours Wednesday night to make up for tonight.

We will still open our walk thru but may not have everything up and running. It depends on how much of a beating our stuff can take up to a point. We will work as quickly as possible to fix or repair anything damaged earlier in the day and have out what we can for the evening, hopefully most of it. Unfortunately we can't control the weather 😕 The weather for Halloween night looks great and we will be 100% up and with full sized candy bars as well as minis when they run out. Thank you all for your support and patience!

We are getting there! 3 sections of our walk thru almost complete. Spider tunnel, Impalement and Pumpkin Patch are pictured. Some things can't be set up until the day of the Boo Cruise(we have deer and some are aggressive bucks lol) and still have about 5 or more sections to setup. Time: 6:30ish - 11pm Saturday the 28th for the Boo Cruise and Halloween night. Halloween night we pass out full sized candy bars! Happy Halloween everyone!

PS, some quick rules: Please park out front and walk in, a gate keeper will meet you at the gates. Please do not touch things, fixing broken animatronics takes a lot of time and money. Taking pictures with or next to animatronics is encouraged but hanging on or grabbing them isn't. There are over 20 of them to enjoy. Please don't bring dogs or any furry friends through the haunt. I love dogs and all animals really but I'd like to keep the walk thru free. Any harm that came to someone or to a beloved pet is a liability we can't risk not to mention feeling devastated by it. We'd also like to keep doing this every year as this is our 23rd year of haunting over 3 residences. This being our permanent one for the last 8 years and over an acre is used for the walk thru. Take pictures and enjoy! We have several 12 foot creatures to see along with a torture chamber, butcher shop etc. Ground is uneven in some spots and we apologize for this. We have 2 large ponds that we incorporate in the walk thru, one being over 10ft deep so please don't get too close and fall in or you'll become part of the display lol. And remember, stay creepy my friends!

We are starting to set up! One pond cleared and skellies in the ground. We will be ready for the Boo Cruise Saturday October 28th from 6pm-10ish and in full swing Halloween night!

Jimmy Beam is hard at work helping with a few chores before we start setting up. I think he may have lost part of his arm in the swamp, alligator maybe? Hopefully this doesn't take too long, he doesn't look that happy!

Getting ready for this Saturdays Shasta Boo Cruise and Halloween night! We hope you'll join us and have fun in our walk through. We've added some new characters! We ask that you please not bring furry friends through due to liability issues and follow the the path marked out. We enjoy sharing our favorite time of year with you all and as always it's free and on Halloween night we pass out full sized candy bars! Please come to the front door for your treats! This year we've added a new 12 foot giant to the family as well as another 12 foot skeleton! Let the planning begin!

I'm always in Halloween mode! Made this crazy tumbler. "Just a woman who could stage a crime scene" complete with blood dripping effect and crime scene tape lol

Look at Jimmy Beam! He's working so hard in the rain helping out with the impaled guys. I don't think he realizes he'll be on a spike too. Jimmy has turned out to be a great employee! D'Artagnan and I also got started on the Voodoo ring/pit in the rain. We have new sections we're adding and can't wait for the storm to pass to do it! At least we got some things done along with more sprucing up. Looking forward to the big night!

Happy 7th Day of Halloween! We have been hard at work making new tombstones and getting things ready! Just caught Jimmy Beam drinking a Coors Light and catfishing in one of the ponds when he's supposed to working! Can you believe this dude?? Back to work Jim Beam!

Well, well, well, the wait is over! It's now the first day of Haunted October! May your days be kooky and your nights get spooky, with scary screams and ghostly dreams. 😱💀🎃😱 Happy Halloween month you creepy peeps! Don't forget to support some haunted houses and corn mazes that are open this year! Let's get scaretastic!

Welcome to Bell Manor/Bell's Bayou Haunt! We have been building up our little haunt since about 1995, first starting with pumpkins and small decorations. Over the years we have added on, changed themes and gotten bigger and better. We love Halloween and love to decorate. I've always loved New Orleans, the bayous and swamps and wanted that to be our theme from then on out. I took a trip to New Orleans and gained more inspiration......Just needed the perfect property to match my vision and in 2016 we found it. 3 acres complete with weeping willows and irrigation ponds(swamps lol) that fit what I wanted. We will always be adding and building it bigger and better so there will always be something new to see. So with that said, Halloween night we invite you to walk through our haunted yard display and trick or treat with us....if you dare!
