We cut beef for the fresh case today. Some great looking steaks getting added. Also come in and ask about or half beeves we have available in Akaushi and Angus.

Grilled off some Ribeyes last night for the Andrews Girls Golf State send off dinner. We are open 10-3 today. Come by and check out our full cases. Perfect grilling weather.

The fresh case is full and ready. Also back in stock are our regular poppers, shrimp poppers, quail popper and also have kabobs already made up. For that quick bite we have our summer sausage already sliced and paired with cheese so you can grab and go. Open Monday-Friday 8-6 and Saturday 10-3.

Seeking Butcher For Kill Floor

We are a continually growing, family business, looking to add a full time butcher to our team. Some responsibilities for this business include, but are not limited to:

- Penning/ moving live animals on site
- Cleaning and skinning carcasses for processing
- Maintaining good personal hygiene, as well as a clean work environment
- Keep up with proper paperwork following the HACCP book.
- Able to read, listen and follow instructions needed to maintain all safety and state regulations
- Have reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic. Work will begin at 7 A.M. with occasional overtime as needed.

This is a position requiring and individual to be a team player and willing to be flexible. Standing, squatting, lifting various weights of heavy objects. Good communication is a must.

Have you ever tried our Akaushi Cube Steaks? Of course they are perfect for your chicken fried steak but they are also great in smothered steak dishes. Here is a before and after picture of them tenderized. Akaushi even puts crazy marbling in these round steaks making them fork tender. Great night with beautiful weather in Kermit cooking steaks for the Kermit Football Team Homecoming Dinner. 55 ribeyes grilled to perfection. Hungry football boys ate through them pretty quick. Bailey Ballew-Morgan Broken Heart Butchery

We have a Grass Fed and Grass Finished Beef for sale($2000 per half). This was a Polled Hereford heifer that we raised and did not breed. She has been living very large in the pasture the past few years. We would normally ship her but with her finish on her she would make someone an awesome beef for the freezer that’s wants a natural grass finished beef. She will be hanging out in the cooler for another week or so then she will be ready to cut up. Contacted us if you like to purchase half a beef and you can fill the cut sheet out. She hung at 850 pounds on the rail so each half is roughly 425 pounds. Asking $2000 per half. That is her in the center of the picture.

We have several already smoked briskets at the butcher shop for sale starting today until sold out. These are Akaushi briskets the weighed between 8 and 20 pounders. Finished weight is around 4-10 pounds. These briskets got smoked last night then rested before packaging in it all their own juices. Ready to freeze and save for later or you can warm them up in the oven for tonight. $22.50 per pound on the already cooked weight.
