Inspired by the Golden Era of Hip Hop at the tender age of 5, M.J. began dancing in local talent shows. Artist like Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, Ice Cube, Tupac, and LL Cool J would capture his. attention. Inspired by the Late 80’s and early 90’s, he could not close out the influence Pop and rock legends like Michael Jackson and Kurt Kobain.With groups like Boys II Men, and (His Favorite group of all time) Bell Biv Devoe making impacts on the world and R n B sensations like Mary. J. Blige, snd Bobby Brown climbing the charts the Hip Hop/R n B movement was welcomed with open arms. This inspired M.J. to start recording with local Producer Tella of Dirrty Beatz Ent. M.J. would work with former No Limit Soldier recording artist Q.B. and join his Q-Tyme Ent. imprint. M.J. would write and feature on the first single “Superstar” from Q.B.’s debute album.
Next for M.J. was a solo project. He would link up with a local Philly m.c./producer by the name of Lon Minks. He would record his first mixtape entitled “Get Familiar”. He would have his hometown taking notice of his super lyrical skills.Next would be his follow up mixtape “The New 93”.In 2006 M.J. met Power-Source ENT. Super producer Ill Genius and Local sensation Ricko A.K.A. #1 Draft Pick. M.J. would feature on Ricko’s first single “V.I. Pimping” which was a underground success, gaining radio play, shows where he and Ricko opened up for artist such as Young Dro and Kujo(Goodie Mobb) and a spot on the Raw Report. Next M.J. would record his 2nd mixtape “The New 93” hosted by The Ill Genius. The mixtape got him an Article in the Anniston Star Newspaper . A few years later M.J. would dedicate his life to God. Now after 2 plus years of being dedicated to Christianity, M.J. is ready to create a new dream and make it reality. The goal is to become a Worldwide Music/Entrepreneurial Success and spread his love, vision, and inspiration through his ever expanding brand.
