I totally hear you, in person training can be a pretty penny, but an investment into your health is an investment into yourself and that’s a good investment. Remote training it’s a great option for people who want to invest in themselves and into their health but can’t afford paying that in person cost or maybe it works better with your schedule to work with a trainer remotely. You still get a program customized specifically for you and you can also get that one on one time with a trainer, it’s just all done remotely. From video calls to talk about your goals to videos perfecting your form, I can help you achieve those goals you have in mind without ever meeting face-to-face. What is Nutrition Coaching?

It’s not severe caloric restrictions (there’s no 1200 calorie diets here)
It’s not cutting out entire food groups (you can still enjoy your guilty pleasure food)
It’s not being handed a meal plan to follow or following a companies “proven plan” for fat loss when in reality their just cutting your calories and charging an arm and a leg for basic meals
It’s not purchasing a bunch of expensive supplements with no evidence behind their effectiveness or with questionable ingredients

Nutrition Coaching is…
learning how to make healthy food choices, from learning to read a food label and understand what it all means to learning how to enjoy going out with friends and not overindulging or under-eating because you think carbs will make you fat.
It’s creating sustainable habits, habits you can stick with to see long term health benefits.
It’s not just losing weight (if that’s your goal), but keeping it off because you’re learning to make healthy choices on your own, not just following a strict plan that the weight comes right back when you try to venture out on your own.
There’s so much more to nutrition coaching, that’s just the start.

Things to STOP doing when trying to eat healthier:
❌ Avoiding entire food groups
❌ Ignoring your cravings
❌ All or nothing mindset
❌ Thinking of certain foods as “bad”
A healthy diet is a balanced diet. When people set strict rules for themselves to follow, they tend to fail because they didn’t give themselves any grace. They aren’t allowing themselves to enjoy food. They think every single meal needs to be perfectly healthy and don’t let themselves eat the foods they enjoy if they aren’t. Let yourself have the burger or the milkshake, just in moderation. Set attainable goals. Start slow. And don’t push yourself too far. A healthy diet is a sustainable one.
