Thank you to everyone for the purchases and good vibes for our Char pup! She's honestly such a strong, brave, resilient girl!!! Treatments are going good and we continue to hope for good blood counts on chemo days and that this eliminates her aggressive tumor. Char's been battling mast cell tumors for almost 4 years...she's had a few surgeries to remove them, her dew claw amputated as they keep showing up on her paws, countless aspirations, 3 rounds of radiation with this current cycle, and now chemo added to the mix. Char also had both of her cruciates done before all of this so we are at about $40,000 in on our very loved rescue dog. Many think I'm nuts for investing this much financially, but if you met Char- you'd see why- she's so loving, happy and was a very bright light for me during the hardest of times. Char finds the smallest sliver of light to bask in reminding us to enjoy even the smallest of things in life. She's taught our 2 year old what it means to love unconditionally, empathy and a love for all animals. Char is truly an amazing dog and her fighting, happy spirit inspires me daily. I have pet insurance but her yearly $3000 policy is already at the limit with the surgery to remove the tumors and the tests to ensure it had not metastasized. When we found out it miraculously hadn't, we knew the decision to fight round 4 was here...with the cost of $7000 out of pocket. I'm just trying to ease the cost by selling things as our family had quite the medical bills this past year- ACL reconstruction with meniscus repair for me and a RSV hospital stay for our little one on her 2nd birthday. So thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to help us save our pup and have as much time with her as we possibly can!!! I'll continue to make things until she's paid off!

Charlotte wins the hearts of all those she meets. Her resiliency, strength and happy demeanor inspire me to be more like her. She finds the slightest sliver of sun and basks in its warmth. Char has to be touching me or my husband when we go to bed-if we move an inch, she does too! Char loves car rides, chasing the ball, and the word squirrel throws her over the edge!
Char has changed so many people's minds about pittbulls. Char and our 2 year old are the best of friends and love playing together. Char won't go to bed until I come upstairs, she waits for me, and despite all she's been through....she greets you with a toy in her mouth, a happy tail wag and a prance around our house. Please help ease the burden as I strive to save my best friend and make many more memories with Char as a family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
