🌀 Hurricane Ida Relief Donation Drive 🌀

In conjunction with Salty Shamrock, we're accepting donations to help those affected by Hurricane Ida in Louisiana.

Please drop off donations between 11 AM - 6PM. We will also accept cash donations.

Help us spread the word and bring some much-needed supplies to those affected by the devastation of Ida in Louisiana! Every donation counts!

Good afternoon Salty Crew,

I hope you are all doing well. I want to inform everyone that we have planned a meeting at
The Salty Shamrock for next Wednesday May 19th at 7pm.
(Flyer attached if you need to pass along)

I have decided to call this meeting as the current situation in Ireland seems to change every day with regard to the hospitality sector. Hotels are due to open on June 7th along with outside dining for restaurants. There is no date set for the reopening of pubs, but it is looking more likely that it will be early July. With this said we have zero clarity on whether it will be reduced capacity indoors, mask required or social distancing etc.

It may seem like downright madness as your tour operator to discourage anyone from travelling as our industry has been crushed over the past 18 months and who knows, by then they may have zero restrictions remaining in place.
It is always my intention that every single guest has a most memorable experience on any DOC'S Irish Tour or DOC'S Golf Tour, and this brings me to the next question:

*Do you still want to commit to the current dates at this time, or would you prefer to reschedule the trip to the following dates?

July 24th - 31st, 2022

Please reply with an answer and we can have a better idea of where we stand as a group by next Wednesday.

These dates would also allow the group to tie in a day at Ireland's best festival "The Galway Races Summer Festival"
DOC'S Irish Tours will cover the €30 cost per ticket as part of the original package.

I look forward to hearing from you and look forward to welcoming you all to Ireland in August 2021 or July 2022.

After collecting additional feedback from committee members and fellow anglers....with everything going on in our community it is with regret that the best course of action at this time is to cancel the 5th Annual Sheepshead Challenge that was scheduled for April 24th. We would like to thank all of those that continue to support our club and our awesome community. Our committee is looking forward to the day when the club will be back in full force.

Good Evening Fellow Club Members!

During our club meeting tonight, it was unanimously decided to move the date of the 5th Annual Sheepshead Challenge due to the expected weather this weekend among other events occuring over the next few weeks. The new date of the tournament will be Saturday, April 24th. The Captains meeting will be Friday, April 23rd at 6:30pm. We appreciate everyone's understanding and we hope to see you all next month at our Club meeting, as well as the Captains meeting on the April 23rd and then our 5th Annual Sheepshead Challenge on the 24th.
