Sorry it’s last minute but we were thinking of having a game tonight around 4:30-5pm, if anyone is interested in coming out to play tonight. Hope rain will stay away!

It with great regret we are going to cancel the game tonight. It’s too saturated out there and it appears more rain is on the way. We are going to re schedule for next Saturday, the 10th. Hope everyone can make it next week. Sorry everyone!

So far we are game on! We may have another band pass thru but the radar looks good for later on today. Not sure how the field will look but we have plenty of baseballs. Just be sure to wear something that can get really dirty! 😂 Also, bring your umbrellas just to be safe.

A few more photos from yesterday’s game. I know I missed a few kids but we surly appreciate everyone coming out. We started the game with 13 players and I believe we ended up having a total of 26 kids pass thru for a little sandlot ball yesterday. Amazing support everyone! Maybe next time we will have two game. 😉 👍🏼 ⚾️

I've had a few reach out and tell me that cannot make it till around 4:30, or even closer to 5pm. Thats not a problem at all. We will let anyone play no matter what time you show up. If you're passing by and want to let you child run out and take a swing while you're at the red light, you will not be turned away. We may not even start right at 4 if not enough have shown up, but we will be warming up. I hope to see everyone tomorrow!

Remember to bring your own snacks, drinks and chairs. There are some massive trees out there that provide lots of shade if anyone wants to do a picnic type dinner. There is also a playground for the little one not interested in baseball. Let's have some fun everyone!

Hello all,

We are looking at a couple fields off of N Hunt Club Blvd, and E Wekiva Trl, to hold our first Sandlot game. If anyone is familiar with Wekiva, Wekiva Golf Club, or Wekiva Hill Park itself, this looks to be a great place to have a true “Sandlot” style baseball game. We were thinking weekends, Saturday or Sunday, but would really be interested in hearing which day works best for everyone.

The plan is to have the kids choose captains, pick their own teams, and just play baseball. It will be coach pitch, and will use a batting tee for those who may need one. We will also umpire the game for them so take it easy on us if we miss a call. 😂 😂 😂
