#tbt Today we're throwing it back to the beautiful Ruby Lake. This project really puts the amenities in amenity center! It includes a clubhouse, pool, splash pad, fire pit, sports courts, mail kiosk and dock. The beautiful lake nearby is a nature preserve, so we worked diligently to minimize environmental impact. We also worked closely with the client to select finishes and keep this project on a tight six-month timeline. The results are beautiful! Click to see more. https://jk2construction.com/ruby-lake/

JK2 Construction is finishing up the entry hardscape and gatehouse for Del Webb Minneola located in Lake County, FL! The amenity site for this new community will feature a two-story, 15,000 square foot resort-style amenity center with stunning views of Lake Apopka. Along with an outdoor pool and spa, residents will be able to enjoy sports courts and plenty of space for indoor and outdoor activities. We are proud to be a part of this project and look forward to keeping you updated with our progress.

Updates on the latest project for JK2 Construction: Del Webb at Viera! Located in Melbourne, FL, this 55 and up community includes a recently finished entry hardscape, a gatehouse and a model park. Up next for this project is a 30,000-square-foot amenity center with resort-like amenities. JK2 is looking forward to delivering another successful project!

Putting the final touches on this beautiful project at Tohoqua, a new community located just south of US 192 & west of the Turnpike in Kissimmee. Residents will soon be able to enjoy this 5,000-square-foot amenity center with a 2,000-square-foot pool, a pickleball court and a bocce ball court. We're proud to be a part of projects like this and look forward to many more to come!

Thanks for 35 years

JK2 Construction
As we begin to close out our 35th year, we are thrilled to see the next generation of JK2 employees living out the values our leaders have set. With this great team and hard work, we're looking toward the next 35 years.

In honor of our 35th anniversary, we took a moment to reflect on the company with this very special video. It’s hard to believe JK2 started in 1987 with little more than a pickup truck and determination. Over the past 35 years, we’ve worked on everything from small jobs to multi-million-dollar projects. We’ve come a long way, but we're still looking toward the future. Check out the video here.

With our 35th anniversary on our minds, we've spent a lot of time reminiscing this year. Check out this video spotlight of Rick Amundson, President/CEO, sharing some of his favorite projects. If you work for JK2 or have in the past, do you have any favorite projects? It's been an honor to be part of completing so many amazing spaces in Central Florida and beyond over our time in business.

Two and a half years ago, JK2 stepped foot at Del Webb Sunbridge to start construction on the entry hardscape, fountains and gatehouse. It has been an unprecedented journey to say the least, but we recently finished the 27,000-square-foot resort-style amenity center called the Hammock Club, which had a soft opening for the pool over the weekend! The grand opening will be happening very soon. This was an amazing project JK2 was proud to be a part of and we look forward to seeing residents enjoy it for many years to come.

This morning, JK2 poured the slab on our 16th pre-engineered metal building in our Apopka Expressway Commerce Center. It’s amazing that we will only have 1 lot left after starting this endeavor in the late 1990s. We’d also like to showcase the explosive growth that is currently happening in Apopka with projects to the South and East as well as the west side of the 429. We are excited to see our hometown moving forward, and we're proud to be a small part of progress here!

Getting close to the finish line on this 27,000 SF amenity just outside of Lake Nona. As you can see, the sports courts are already being utilized by the residents, and the Grand Opening is coming up soon! This has been a great project and we look forward to applying our expertise in amenity packages to more communities soon, as well as working more in the busy Lake Nona area.

A little too windy the other day to fly the drone outside, so we decided to get some interior progression shots of the entryway/lobby and multipurpose/stage rooms at Del Webb Sunbridge. Very soon, you will see the finishes being applied and the grand opening of this 27,000 SF luxury amenity center right outside of Lake Nona! JK2 Construction, like everyone else, has had to deal with supply chain issues during this project, but we’ve persevered and the end is near.

Just FLYING by to show off our latest completed project: The Isles of Lake Nona clubhouse and amenity. This was a fun project, and we can't wait for residents to be out and enjoying it soon. Thanks to all who worked on it!

The Apopka Expressway Commerce Center is growing again! This morning JK2 poured the slab on our 15th pre-engineered metal building. The owners of JK2 purchased this land, conveniently located near the intersection of the 429 Expressway and Hwy 441, in the late 1990s and developed the site infrastructure in the mid-2000s. There will be only two vacant lots remaining after completion of this project, one of which have already been sold. This drone video shows off the entire park!
